Gardenwitch's Musings
Inspired by my love of nature and my garden in particular, I have embarked on a midlife career change. This blog will be a place where I can share the journey of building a creative business with its successes and foibles. You will find occasional book reviews, travel logs, and artist date experiences In addition, I will post updates about my garden throughout the year.

Writers like Virginia Woolfe and Michael Pollan insist that one needs a place of one’s own to pursue a creative passion. How can you create such a space of your own?
A Sense of Place
Angela E. Douglas’s writes in her book Nature on the Doorstep about her experiences during the pandemic giving the reader an understanding of what people refer to as a sense of place. It’s Okay to be a Novice
If you are facing the challenges of something new in your life, you are in the novice stage and it’s okay. Be kind to yourself as you learn.
Knitting Reads Knit 1 - Unraveling
Not only do I love to knit, but I enjoy to reading about the craft and the people who do it.
